About

I am an interdisciplinary artist and chronically ill person who makes art as a way to reconnect with my body.

When your body hurts, or even just feels like a thing you're having a hard time connecting to, it can help to cover it in clothing that is comfortable, feels validating, and maybe feels like it's giving you a little bit of protection.

Our bodies deserve to be wrapped in what makes us feel like ourselves. This can feel like trying to grasp light through our fingertips, or an impossible pile of encoded stories told through patterns and weaves.

During the pandemic when we were all physically separated from each other, I started printing clothes with images that I felt could give some protection to the people I love. Printing patterns of protection that could sit on your chest while we dealt with a plague attacking our lungs and hearts felt like something I could put into the world. Maybe some of these images will resonate with you? Maybe they will feel loud and silly! Thats ok!

(Maybe you want me to make something special just for you...?! I'm always open to talking about this. Send me an email!)
